Perennial media activists Project Veritas have busted Google with insiders revealing their plan to prevent another “Trump situation” in 2020. Google responded by deleting the video from the subsidiary platform, YouTube. What was so damaging that it had to be censored?
Jen Gennai, Google’s ‘Head of Innovation Responsibility’ was caught on hidden camera explaining her definition of fairness isn’t the same as yours.
“My definition of fairness and bias specifically talks about historically marginalised communities,”
the video records her saying. She continues, referring to majority demographics,
“Communities who are in power and have traditionally been in power are not who I’m solving fairness for.“
“There was the same people who voted for the current president who do not agree with our definition of fairness.“
A Google whistle blower whose identity is obscured in the video commented that, “What they’re really saying about ‘fairness’ is that they have to manipulate the search results so it gives them the political agenda that they want.“
My own experiment to test this claim was to simply type “men can” into the Google search engine like they do in the video. Sure enough, Google suggested I (of all people) might be wanting to know search for “men can have babies”, “men can get pregnant”, or “men can have periods”.
The video is well worth watching as the whistle blower goes into much more detail and examples. He concludes, “What’s scary is that Google’s deciding what’s important and what not important. They are effectively deleting conversations from the national narrative… It reminds me a lot of fascism.“
